Urwerk 202 Air Compressed Driven Watch

Watches are typically battery driven meaning that you have to change batteries often during your watch's lifetime. There have been few innovations on the mechanics of watches in recent years, but there is now - and it comes courtesy of the Urwerk 202. The 202 holds no battery, but functions by making use of compressed air. The internals of the watch are waterproof, allowing the built-in turbines to rotate based on temperature changes.
In an effort to increase the lifespan of the watch, there is a switch on the back which can be set at one of three positions - each controlling the turbine speeds to a different degree.

"In addition, the reading manner is fairly innovative. The three dials accompanied by their own rotating blocks are used to indicate hours and, at the same time, they adjust their length to mark the minutes."

The Urwerk looks pretty cool, but will the watch be able to ensure the correct time -- all the time? It's difficult to say, since time is of the essence!
